About Us

Forever Young has established itself as one of the NY /NJ metro area’s premier Golden Oldies & Doo-Wop party and dance bands.

Members of the group include Stuart Iselin (piano & vocals), Barney Griffin (lead guitar & vocals), Joe Riccio (bass guitar & vocals), Kenneth Conti (sax & vocals), David Barckett (organ/synthesizer & vocals) and Bruce Pollack (drums & percussion).

Forever Young regularly perform at oldies dances, concerts, “sock hops,” dinner dances and parties, senior and rehab facilities, car shows and rallies, night clubs and bars, libraries, charity and other town and community events, as well as birthday, anniversary and retirement parties, weddings and reunions.

Forever Young has opened for such groups as Jay Siegel and the Tokens (The Lion Sleeps Tonight) and The Persuasions (world renowned acapella group). In addition, the band has performed shows for the late doo-wop impresario Ronnie Italiano and the New Jersey Doo-Wop Association and backed up members of the Del-Vikings (Come Go with Me).

We pride ourselves on being true to the doo-wop harmonies and the oldies classics and enjoy our part in keeping this music alive. Forever Young plays ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s oldies from the likes of Dion & the Belmonts and The Duprees to Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis and Elvis.  Based on the audience and venue, the group has expanded its repertoire with the addition of Motown, R&B and 'vintage' classic rock hits from The Temptations, Sam & Dave, Spencer Davis, Doobie Brothers, Eric Clapton and more.

With five strong and experienced lead singers backed by lots of tight doo-wop style group harmony and instrumentation, Forever Young is able to provide exceptionally wide variety and range to its sound.

Established in 1999, the members of Forever Young are all veteran musicians and residents of Rockland and Bergen Counties.
